Home Tax Credit!

Right now is the perfect time to build or buy a home if you havent owned a home in the last 3 years! The IRS is offering a tax credit of $7500 to anyone that meets that critera. The tax credit is a no interest loan to the IRS and is paid back over 15 years, at $500 a year. The loan will either be credited to your tax that is owed or will be paid back with the refunded amount. So even if you dont owe any taxes, you will still get the $7500 back as a refund. This is the perfect way to invest in your home with remodeling or building, and not have to pay any interest on the money. Alachua Home Show

We will be participating in the Alachua Home Show this year. The home show in Alachua, on Main Street, is April 19th, sunday only from 10am-5pm. The show features home improvements,arts, crafts, jewelry, home & garden, writers, artists, musicians, clowns, children’s activities, inspirational, self-improvement, music, fishing tackle and boaters “toys”, tools, and quality yard sale items. Parade of Homes

Two times a year, Gainesville host the parade of homes. Its a great opportunity for homeowners and potiental homeowners to come out and get ideas on remodeling, custom homes, and possibly even buy a home. Whats better, its completely FREE for everyone.

This year the parade is April 18th-26th, both weekends. Best time to beat the crowds is sunday. Make sure you wear your comfortable walking shoes! The newspaper typically prints a parade of homes map on the first weekend event. This paper will tell you about the home, location, and builder. You can also pick up a BANCF directory at most homes. (WE ARE LISTED AND ADVERTISED IN IT)

Home Show 2009

The home show in the O'Connell Center was a wonderful success. There were over 4,000 total visitors to the show this year, only slightly down from last year. Despite the economy we had a strong response at our booth for remodeling, additions, and even a couple custom homes. We were pleasantly surprised by how many people wanted estimates. Hopefully this is a sign of things starting to turn in the area, and look for a brighter future for everyone. We really appreciate everyone coming out to support us and the other local businesses.
